Adding a new drive will most likely reintroduce the RAID 1 option. So would there be any benefit from having my memory in slot 1 and 3 instead of what I have now?? Did I do this wrong? Default is good enough I have reflashed the bios, tried a combination of all settings regarding extra raid controller, sataand RAID options Kernel configuration is invalid. I just want to get things straight before I decide on a permanent setup. Once this is done, I’m able to insmod it just fine.
I’ve been following this thread for some time and have tried every possible solution to get these two ports on my mobo to work but no matter what I can’t get the driver to compile.
